Important Privacy Information (Short Notice)

When you use the GenioKid mobile application or website, we may ask for your child’s first name or nickname and age group. We also automatically receive certain technical data from your device such as language settings, IP address, time zone, device type and model, operating system, device settings, Internet service provider, mobile carrier, hardware identifiers, Facebook ID, and other identifiers (for example, the Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA)). We use this information to provide and improve the Service, understand how it is used, and to measure and optimize advertising.

To enhance and support the Service, some data may be shared with carefully selected partners, including Snapchat, Pinterest, Appsflyer, Amplitude, TikTok, Facebook, and Google. This helps us understand interactions with the Service (for example, which products or screens are viewed) and measure advertising effectiveness.

If you make a purchase, we will ask for your email address to deliver your receipt or order information.

For details about what we collect, how we use it, your rights, and who is responsible for your data, please read the full Privacy Policy below. If any questions remain, contact us at info@geniokid.app.

By tapping “Accept” in the app or proceeding to use the Service, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use and to this Privacy Policy (including the sharing of data with the third parties described here).

Scope and Your Agreement

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you or your child use the GenioKid mobile application (the “App”), the GenioKid website (the “Website”), and the services offered through them (collectively, the “Service”), and how that data is used and shared.

BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU CONFIRM THAT (I) YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY; (II) YOU ARE OVER 16 YEARS OF AGE (OR YOUR PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN HAS READ AND AGREED TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY FOR YOU); AND (III) YOU ARE A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN IF YOU USE OUR SERVICE ON BEHALF OF A CHILD. If you do not agree or are unable to make this confirmation, you must not use the Service.

If you do not agree, please (a) delete your or your child’s account using the in-app or Website settings or contact us to request deletion; and (b) remove the App from your devices or leave the Website.

We receive data about your referring app or URL (for example, the app or web page where you clicked an ad that led you to our App or Website).

1.2.2. Device and Approximate Location Data

From your device we collect, for example: language settings, IP address, time zone, device type and model, device settings, operating system, Internet service provider, mobile carrier, hardware ID, and Facebook ID.

1.2.4. Advertising Identifiers

We collect your Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA), Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), or Google Advertising ID (AAID), depending on your device’s operating system. You can typically reset these identifiers in your device settings (we do not control this functionality).

2.4. To Communicate About the Service

We may contact you via push notifications or email with updates and other Service-related information. To opt out of push notifications, change your device settings. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails.

Our messaging providers may receive data about when messages are delivered or viewed and when you interact with them (for example, link clicks). We use Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to send notifications to iOS devices, and Firebase Cloud Messaging/Firebase Notifications to send messages across Android and iOS devices.

2.5. To Research and Analyze Usage

We study how people use the Service in order to maintain, improve, innovate, plan, design, and develop new features and products. This includes statistical analyses and A/B testing to decide what to build next based on aggregated trends (for example, if users engage more with certain activities).

Analytics and attribution tools we use include Appsflyer (to understand how users find the App and to measure campaigns), Amplitude (to understand feature usage and user flows, including time zone, device type, and identifiers such as IDFA), Facebook Analytics (aggregated demographics and insights about access and interactions), and Google Analytics (aggregated Website metrics and ad effectiveness).

2.7. To Comply with Legal Obligations

We may process, use, or disclose data when required by applicable law or when responding to lawful requests from public authorities.

2.8. To Process Payments
